The BYU football program's 2017 recruiting class continues to fill up, as Cougar coaches have received a commitment from Seleti Fevaleaki Jr., a defensive tackle from Centennial High School in Corona, Calif.
Fevaleaki Jr.'s father confirmed the commitment with the Deseret News.
Listed by Scout.com as a three-star prospect at 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, Fevaleaki Jr. also held interest from Boise State and Hawaii.
TotalBlueSports.com was first to report the news.
The fact that Fevaleaki Jr. has a number of close family members who live in Utah and that it would be easier for family in California to come to games was a key in helping him choose BYU.
