BYU football opens spring camp with Tanner Mangum running the show at quarterback

PROVO — As BYU opened spring football practices Monday, one thing Cougar coaches didn't have to worry about was finding a starting quarterback.

With Taysom Hill having graduated, junior Tanner Mangum is the undisputed starter — and he's looking the part.

“I was really pleased with the way Tanner threw the ball and the way he executed the offense and the adjustments that he made," said coach Kalani Sitake.
