PROVO — BYU freshman place-kicker Jake Oldroyd is questionable for Saturday’s game against West Virginia after suffering an injury last weekend.
“He’s not practicing (Tuesday). That’s about all that I know,” said special teams coordinator Ed Lamb. “The trainers used some words that I didn’t understand as far as what he’s working through. To the best of my knowledge right now, he’s hopeful for the game.”
Oldroyd attempted a 55-yard field goal late in the first half against UCLA that was blocked. But his injury didn’t come on that play.
“It was something that kind of showed up in pregame and then got worse and worse,” Lamb said.
