San Jose State hasn't seen a lot of success on the football field this season, but it has captured the attention of talk show host Ellen Degeneres.
The team made a surprise appearance on the "Ellen Degeneres Show," to which Degeneres granted $25,000 to the team's Beyond Football program, a program run by running backs coach Alonzo Carter. Carter worked previously as a backup dancer to MC Hammer, and performed his dance routine in front of his players earlier in the season.
