SAN CLEMENTE, CA. — BYU landed one its most impressive commitments to date on Sunday, with Bentley Redden announcing on Twitter of his intent to sign with the Cougars.
Redden is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound athlete who could play a multitude of positions while at BYU, although it’s likely he’ll end up playing at tight end. The San Clemente product claimed offers from the likes of Arizona State, Kansas and Tennessee before pledging to sign with BYU, according to 247 Sports.
Redden becomes the seventh commitment of the 2021 class, joining the likes of Raider Damuni, Weston Jones, Kyson Hall, Hinckley Ropati, Ricky Wolfgramm and Jovesa Damuni.
