BYU football coaches hit the recruiting trail hard in January, working to fill out the Class of 2019 while keeping an eye on exceptional talent for future classes. While the coaching staff extended scholarship offers to student-athletes across the country, they also hosted several recruits in Provo for official and unofficial visits.
Their efforts were rewarded as verbal commitments came last week from three-star tight end Trey Andersen and three-star defensive end Cade Albright. The team also added depth to the Class of 2019 with verbal commitments for preferred walk-on spots from Nathan Upham, Fisher Jackson and Bailey Sulzer.
