Graduate assistants are often an overlooked part of coaching staffs, but they can be valuable pieces that provide additional insight and training to their respective position groups.
BYU added a new graduate assistant to its staff in Dallas Reynolds (Ben Criddle and Jake Kuresa confirmed the news Monday afternoon on ESPN960 radio). Reynolds is one of the best offensive linemen in the Bronco Mendenhall era. A four-year starter, Reynolds was a Freshman All-American and a first team All-MWC offensive tackle during his junior and senior seasons.
Following his BYU career, Reynolds played in the NFL for seven seasons.
