BYU Football: Adam Pulsipher named to Wuerffel Trophy watch list

A fourth BYU Football player finds himself in the running for a national award.

On Thursday, the All Sports Association released the watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy, and Cougar linebacker Adam Pulsipher is on that list.

The Wuerffel Trophy is given to the player that best combines athletics, community service, and academics. It’s unique among the major college football awards, as it’s one of the few that considers more than just on-field achievement.

In all, 106 players are on the watch list. That number will be pared down to a group of semifinalists on November 1st, with a smaller group of finalists released on November 19th.
