BYU moved up one spot to 16 in the final college football playoff rankings released Sunday, passing USC. BYU also moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 poll to 13, passing Northwestern. BYU’s bowl opponent, UCF, sits 4 spots outside of the AP Top 25 poll at 29. BYU is the highest western ranked team in both polls.
BYU will end is season Tuesday versus UCF at 7:00 ET on ESPN. The Golden Knights are 6-3 and boast one of the nation’s top QBs in Dillion Gabriel. Gabriel has put up similar numbers to Zach Wilson, throwing for 3353, 30 TDs, and 4 interceptions.
