BYU had some chances late, but the Cougars faltered down the stretch in a 76-73 road loss to Pepperdine.
BYU led by as many as 11 points in the second half, but turnovers and rebounding killed BYU and allowed Pepperdine to come away with the win. Alex Barcello had a chance to tie the game with under 10 seconds left but he missed a decent look at a three pointer in the corner.
BYU’s bench kept them in the game as 3 of the 4 BYU players that scored in double figures came off the bench.
