BYU Crushes Navy in Season-Opening Win

BYU dominated Navy from the opening kick and dominated every facet of the game as the Cougars came out on top 55-3 in the season opener.

BYU dominated both sides of the line scrimmage, opening up gaping holes for running backs on offense and suffocating Navy’s triple option attack on defense.

Offensively, BYU piled up 580 yards and put up an absolute clinic on the offensive line. Tyler Allgeier ran for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns while Lopini Katoa added 80 yards and 2 touchdowns of his own (plus a TD reception).

Zach Wilson had to throw only 18 passes, completing 13/18 for 232 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 pick.
