Both BYU Men’s and Women’s Cross Country took advantage of a familiar course to secure easy victories at Saturday morning’s West Coast Conference Championships.
The men entered the race, held at Provo’s East Bay Golf Course, as the No. 2 team in the nation, and it showed.
Six Cougar runners finished in the Top 10 individually, with all six earning All-WCC First Team honors as a result.
Connor McMillan paced BYU with a second-place finish, followed by Conner Mantz, Rory Linkletter, and Brayden McLelland to round out the first five finishers. Jacob Heslington and Clayson Shumway finished seventh and eighth overall for the Cougars.
