PROVO — After enjoying a relaxing weekend, BYU players went through a tough practice Monday.
The Cougars return to action Friday (9:30 p.m., MT, CBSS) when they visit Spartan Stadium to take on San Jose State.
“It seems like a long time since we played,” said coach Bronco Mendenhall. “It always does after a bye week. We worked our team hard (Monday). It was a padded practice. They didn’t have time to transition back into it or test the waters. We worked hard. They handled it pretty well.”
Quarterback Tanner Mangum said the Cougars made the most of their bye week.
