No injuries and a chance to see everyone on the floor. BYU accomplished its two biggest tasks of the final exhibition tuneup in a comfortable 72-43 win over Division 2 Westminster.
Yoeli Childs led BYU with 14 points and 14 rebounds as BYU’s talent and superior length were too much for Westminster. Freshman Gavin Baxter showed off his length and athleticism as he finished the night with 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks on a perfect 4-4 shooting night.
BYU struggled from the arc, particularly in the first half, as they finished 7-22 (31%) for the night.
