BYU Beats Arizona State, Moves to 3-0

3-0!!

It wasn’t always pretty, but BYU held on and made key plays when it mattered in a 27-17 win over Arizona State to move to 3-0.

Baylor Romney came in for relief of Jaren Hall and threw a TD pass on third and goal to seal the game. BYU had a huge second quarter where they scored two of their three offensive touchdowns, but BYU’s discipline over Arizona State’s lack thereof was the difference maker. BYU had three penalties compared to ASU’s 12 penalties for 135 yards. BYU also won the turnover battle 4-2 and took advantage of other ASU miscues.
