It should come as no surprise that Yoeli Childs has decided to declare for the NBA Draft and hire an agent. Last year Childs worked out for a few NBA teams and was told to come back for another season to improve his perimeter game and overall playing style.
While his perimeter play did improve, it is anyone’s guess whether it will be enough to be picked up by an NBA team or if he will have to follow the steps of Eric Mika and Elijah Bryant and play overseas.
Childs joins former Cougars Jahshire Hardnett and Rylan Bergersen as players who have already declared that they will not being playing with the Cougars next season.
