Seniors Nate Austin, Kyle Collinsworth and Chase Fischer have been named team captains for the 2015-16 season, BYU coach Dave Rose announced Tuesday.
Austin, a 6-foot-11 forward, is back for a fifth year after receiving a medical redshirt. The Alpine, Utah, native suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in 2014-15 after starting the first 10 games of the season. In 116 career games, Austin has made 53 starts and posted averages of 3.8 points and 5.4 rebounds. He ranks fourth all-time at BYU with 235 offensive rebounds and 16th with 71 blocks.
Collinsworth is coming off a record-setting 2014-15 season in which he averaged 13.
