BYU is in the final five for Portland State big man transfer Amari McCray, he announced on his Instagram. BYU is in his final five along with Texas Tech, Clemson, Penn State and Grambling State.
McCray played in 12 games for the Vikings before his season was cut short with a season-ending knee injury. McCray averaged 10.7 points, 5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in just 18 minutes per game. He had 12 points and 11 rebounds in a game at Washington State. McCray is a grad transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
