BYU Basketball loses ugly game on the road to Boise State

BYU came out ice cold from the field and could never fully recover as they lost 72-68 in overtime to Boise State.

BYU shot better in the second half, but still shot 38% from the field and 29% from three for the game. TJ Haws’ shooting woes continued, as the senior went 0-8 from three-point range. Jake Toolson led the way for BYU with 19 points on 7-20 shooting.

BYU had a chance to win in regulation, but a fadeaway Jake Toolson jumper was off and a tip at the basket didn’t fall.

6-foot-9 Boise State guard Derrick Alston gave BYU troubles all night, as he finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds.
