It will just seem that way to the folks who stay up to watch the contest against Long Beach State on ESPN2 from the Walter Pyramid, because tipoff is 11:45 p.m. MST. The game is part of ESPN's Tip-Off Marathon, the same deal the Cougars participated in two years ago when they ran past Stanford 112-103 at Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, Calif.
BYU coach Dave Rose said the Cougars hope to be able to host one of the around-the-clock games in the near future.
