BYU Basketball game at San Diego postponed due to COVID-19

BYU Basketball’s game at San Diego scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the San Diego program.

The game would have been the conference opener for the Cougars after their game at Pepperdine Thursday was postponed. San Diego played at San Francisco on New Year’s Eve, falling 70-62.

BYU’s next game is scheduled to be at home on Thursday against Pacific. Pacific has had 10 games canceled or postponed already, and are 3-1 on the season. The game would be the conference opener for both teams after Pacific’s game against Portland was postponed.
