BYU Basketball extends Mark Pope through 2026-27 Season

BYU and Tom Holmoe announced Tuesday night that head coach Mark Pope has extended his contract with BYU Basketball through the 2026-27 season. As part of the decision, Coach Pope has deferred increased compensation until future years to help the university with budget concerns due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Tom Holmoe announced that a contract extension has been finalized for Coach Pope that extends through the 2026-27 season.

In an effort to help BYU Athletics with budget concerns due to COVID-19, Pope elected to defer increased compensation in the new contract into future years.
