BYU came out of the gates sluggish, but they turned things around late in the first half to come out on top over Northwestern State, 82-57.
Four BYU players finished in double figures, led by 18 points and 15 rebounds from Yoeli Childs; Yoeli has a double-double in each of BYU’s three games. Dalton Nixon tied a career high with 15 points, and TJ Haws and Connor Harding added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
BYU started out 0-7 from three, but ended the game 7-14 from distance to finish 32% for the night.
