Former BYU guard Chase Fischer is taking his talents overseas.
We learned this week that Fischer has signed a one-year deal with the Italian team Givova Scafati.
For European basketball aficionados: Givova Scafati plays in the second-divison Serie A2.
For everyone else: The team is based in Scafati, Campania. Their team colors are yellow and blue (not unlike the Mountaineers of Chase’s home state West Virginia), and their mascot appears to be some sort of Tasmanian-devil looking thing.
