All five CMU starters average at least 8.4 points per game, led by 6-foot-1 guard Chris Fowler at 17.0 ppg. Braylon Rayson (16.6), Rayshawn Simmons (14.2) and John Simons (10.1) also score in double figures.
The Chips don't run as much as BYU, but are still averaging 75.7 ppg. The Cougars are averaging 80.9 ppg.
Saturday's 92-83 loss at Colorado showed that the Cougars still cannot string together two good halves against a quality team. They actually outscored the Buffaloes 47-44 in the second half, but that wasn't nearly enough to overcome a 48-36 halftime deficit.
"We were not consistent enough in two areas," Rose said.
