PROVO — Dave Rose will have to fill a position on his BYU basketball staff this offseason, as the school announced Thursday that assistant head coach Terry Nashif will leave the program to pursue business opportunities.
Nashif, a former Cougar guard from 2001-05, joined Rose’s staff in 2005 as director of operations, then was named an assistant coach in 2007 and promoted to assistant head coach last year.
“Our time at BYU has been an amazing opportunity and experience for me and my family,” Nashif said in a statement. “Being associated with Coach Rose, both as a player and a coach, has been one of the great honors of my life.
