BYU Baseball’s David Clawson selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 2018 MLB Draft

David Clawson was selected by the Los Angeles Angels with the 1111th pick in the 37th round in the 2018 MLB Draft.

The sophomore catcher Clawson has a rocket arm and loves to gun down runners who try to steal on him. Opponent quickly quit running on Clawson once they knew about his arm.

Clawson wasn’t bad at the plate either. He hit .280 with 5 home runs and 39 RBIs in his career. Clawson was named to the All-WCC Freshman team in 2017.

This isn’t Clawson 1st experience with a MLB draft.
