BYU Baseball has started 2016 better than most would expect. Not only have the Cougars won the first three games–each against Saint Louis–but they have been very impressive wins. It’s a great sign to see in regards to the potential of the team.
The Cougars have allowed just 10 runs and have scored 37 in three games.
On Friday the offense exploded, totaling 21 runs, and the pitching did well too, led by Michael Rucker. He allowed just two runs in six innings, and the pitching unit limited Saint Louis to seven total runs.
Freshman outfielder Kyle Dean was the first Cougar to score and also hit a two run shot.
