BYU baseball: Lund named Rawlings WCC Player of the Week

Brennon Lund, BYU's center fielder, was named the Rawlings West Coast Conference Player of the Week by the league office Monday.

Starting the season with three wins over Saint Louis University, Lund was 10-for-16 (.625) with three RBIs, two doubles, one walk, one strikeout, one stolen base and 11 putouts (eight came in the 5-0 shutout) in the deepest center field (433 feet) in the country for a minor league park at AAA Cashman Field, home of the 51s in Las Vegas.
