Big performances by Brock Hale and Nate Favero helped BYU baseball sweep a doubleheader against Niagara on Friday at Miller Park, 14-10 and 14-2.
The Cougars (14-1) overcame an eight-run deficit in game one to defeat Niagara (2-14). In the nightcap, BYU put up 14 more runs to defeat the Purple Eagles to clinch the weekend series and extend the win streak to eight games.
“I have to give credit to Trent (Pratt) our hitting coach. He works with all of the hitters and it is paying off,” BYU head coach Mike Littlewood said.
