The BYU Cougars officially accepted an invitation to play in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 19, against a yet-to-be-named Pac-12 opponent.
The school made the announcement Wednesday afternoon, two hours after ESPN college football reporter Brett McMurphy initially reported the news.
