USA Today released its preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll and BYU finished with 53 votes, 6 spots outside of the top 25 and 31st overall. USC is the lone BYU opponent that is ranked, checking in at number 14.
Utah just outside the poll at number 26 and week three opponent Arizona State is 28. Boise State received 27 votes (36th overall) and no other BYU opponents received votes.
This is the first of two major preseason polls that will be released, with the AP Top 25 poll dropping on Monday, August 16.
