Bryant's career-high 39 points leads BYU past Portland

PORTLAND — BYU’s crisis of confidence, inflicted by Saint Mary’s last Saturday, all but disappeared Thursday night at the Chiles Center.

Guard Elijah Bryant poured in a career-high 39 points as the once-discouraged Cougars emerged from their malaise, jumped on Portland early and never let up in a dominating 97-78 victory.
