SALT LAKE CITY – New as Mitch Wishnowsky is to the Utah-BYU rivalry, it hasn’t taken long to grasp the implications. He has the help of Tom Hackett, the former Utah punter, who delighted in tweaking the Cougars. Also, there are teammates Andy Phillips and Chase Hansen – both Utahns -- to fill him in.
“Nobody likes to lose, ever,” Wishnowsky said, “but they made it clear that we don’t lose to BYU, so...”
That’s about as incendiary as it gets for the Utes’ newest Australian punter. The rest he’ll hand off to the ever-entertaining Hackett, who last December announced this is Utah’s world, and BYU is merely a bit player.
