As jury deliberates ‘hired hitman’ case, prosecutors file new charges against woman, alleging she wanted two more people killed, in addition to her ex-husband

As a jury deliberated the case of Linda Gillman, a Salt Lake City woman accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill her ex-husband in 2016, prosecutors filed additional charges alleging Gillman later tried to have two other people killed.

Earlier Friday, Gillman, 70, was charged in the new case, which involves remarkably similar allegations to the first.

According to a probable cause statement, Gillman bailed a fellow inmate out of jail, and in return wanted help setting up the murders of Christian Olsen — whom she had asked to hire someone to kill her ex-husband, as well as an attorney representing a construction company suing her in civil court.
