Arizona State finished its rotation with a big vaulting effort to hold the lead in the Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships Saturday after the first session in the Maverik Center in West Valley City.
Second-ranked UCLA, sixth-ranked Utah, No. 14 Oregon State and No. 16 California compete in the evening session that starts at 6 p.m.
ASU was the sixth seed, but scored a 49.125 to finish the afternoon in first.
Washington was second in the afternoon session with a 196.175 followed by Stanford (195.925) and Arizona (193.9).
