A man accused of stealing packages — and who fired a gun at a witness in Herriman last week — has been arrested in Nevada, police said Monday.
The 28-year-old man, who Unified Police said was a convicted felon, was arrested Monday at a West Wendover motel. The man does not have a criminal history in Utah, court records show. The witness reported the car the man was traveling in had out of state license plates.
He was booked into the Elko County, Nevada, jail on suspicion of attempted murder, police said in a news release.
The man’s car was also located and seized.
