BYU’s soccer dominance continued Saturday night at South Field as the Cougars came from behind to beat San Diego 3-1.
The Cougars found themselves behind early in the 12th minute on a defensive breakdown. However, the Cougars responded immediately, scoring 22 seconds later. Colohan chipped the ball into the net from a few yards out to equalize.
BYU would gain the lead a few minutes later in the 20th minute through Cameron Tucker. BYU played a set piece to Rachel Bingham Lyman on the wing, who sent a quick cross to Tucker for the goal.
BYU would score one more early in the second half, when Elise Flake got the ball on the left side of the field and cut onto her right foot, placing the ball into the back of the net in the 47th minute.
