Steve Sarkisian hit James Dye for a 32-yard touchdown with 10:55 to go. Later, facing third-and-7, K.O. Kealaluhi then caught a 28-yard pass with 3:39 remaining to give BYU the lead.
Omarr Morgan then saved the day for the Cougars with an interception at the BYU 3-yard line with 55 seconds left.
