INDIANAPOLIS – No basketball player should have his life condensed into two moments. Yet for Jair Bolden, two might be representative.
Bolden, 23, recently announced he is transferring from South Carolina to Butler, which will be his third college in four years. He played two seasons for George Washington, then sat out one.
“His hatred of losing and commitment to his team are amazing,” said Seth Berger, his high school coach.
Before college, the 6-3 Bolden, a Brooklyn native, was a three-star prospect and student body president at Westtown School in Norristown, Pa.
