INDIANAPOLIS – Butler’s scheduled business trip to Maui has been re-routed to Las Vegas.
College basketball’s annual Maui Invitational has been re-booked for Vegas. Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports first reported the change.
The Bulldogs will open at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, against Houston, which is coming off a Final Four played in Indianapolis. Winner will play Nov. 23 against the Wisconsin/Texas A&M winner. The championship is Nov. 24.
On the other side of the bracket: Oregon vs. Chaminade, St. Mary’s vs. Notre Dame.
Because of the pandemic, last year’s Maui tournament was played in Asheville, North Carolina.
