INDIANAPOLIS – Like other Butler trips this season, Bryce Nze is missing this one. College basketball transfers who sit out don’t accompany the team to road games, so he will watch teammates play on television in Tuesday’s game at St. John’s.
Not that his time will be wasted while the Bulldogs are in New York. Too much time has already frittered away.
He will put up shots. He will lift weights, living up to his nickname, “The Rock.” He will stay conditioned like the soccer player he once was.
