That is where the Bulldogs find themselves after losing to Creighton 72-64 Saturday night before a loud sellout crowd of 17,677 at CenturyLink Center.
Never mind about the Bulldogs’ No. 18 national ranking. At 13-6, they face an uphill climb to reach the NCAA tournament after starting 11-1 and ranking as high as No. 9.
Guard Maurice Watson Jr. scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half for Creighton (5-2, 14-6).
