INDIANAPOLIS – Southern Indiana lost to Indiana by 32 points and to Butler by 21.
What does it all mean? Nothing, really, until Indiana and Butler meet Dec. 15 in college basketball’s Crossroads Classic.
Paul Jorgensen scored 24 points, and the Bulldogs overcame an early nine-point deficit to defeat Southern Indiana 79-58 Saturday in an exhibition game at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Guard Alex Stein scored 18 to lead the Screaming Eagles.
Joey Brunk added 14 points and Henry Baddley 13 for Butler. The Bulldogs open the season next Saturday against Miami of Ohio at Hinkle, which is already sold out for the game.
