INDIANAPOLIS – Even if he never plays in a Butler basketball uniform, Miller Kopp has shown bulldog determination.
In the aftermath of Tropical Storm Harvey, he made it out of Houston for a trip to Butler’s campus.
The 6-6 prospect said Tuesday he “loved” his official visit. He arrived late Saturday night in Indianapolis and returned to Houston on Monday. About 8,700 flights out of Houston’s two airports had been canceled because of the storm and subsequent flooding.
Kopp said he had been in Indy before for a summer tournament but had seen little except for the gyms in which games were played.
