NCAA tournament is new to some in Butler basketball

INDIANAPOLIS – If you follow Butler – as a fan, alum or college basketball devotee – this is expected. Of course, Butler plays in the NCAA tournament.

Except coaches and players know it is not so simple. It is not a right. It is not a given.

Especially when a coach, LaVall Jordan, or a player, Paul Jorgensen, have never really done this before.

“I took some time this morning to reflect with my wife and with my family,” Jordan said after the bracket was announced Sunday night.
