The Butler University men’s tennis team was defeated by their cross-town rival, the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds, 4-3 on Feb. 11. Butler’s record dropped to 2-5 with the defeat.
Freshman Ari Gerstein and junior Alex Woldmoe defeated Arklon Huertas del Pino and Andrea Morlet 6-3, but the Greyhounds seized another crucial doubles point. Freshman Spencer Lang, junior Mikheil Khmiadashvili and freshman Adrian Mag went on to win their singles matches, but their efforts were not enough.
