Butler shot 86 percent from the free throw line and got a combined 39 points from seniors Roosevelt Jones and Kellen Dunham to drop DePaul, 67-53, Wednesday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse. With the win, Butler improves to 14-6 overall and 3-5 in BIG EAST play. The win also completes the season sweep of the Blue Demons, who fall to 7-13 (1-7).
Jones scored the first eight points of the game for Butler and finished with a season-high 23 points, four rebounds and four assists. He shot 7-of-11 from the field and made nine of his 11 free throw attempts.
