If there was any city for Butler to end a road losing streak, it was Chicago.
Jair Bolden scored 21 points, the Bulldogs hit 10 3-pointers, and they went on to defeat DePaul 67-53 Tuesday night in Big East basketball at Wintrust Arena.
Butler led by 23 points in the first half and 25 in the second.
Butler (5-7, 4-5) had been 0-5 away from Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs lost at DePaul 79-66 last year. Until then, they had won 19 in a row in the Chicago area and 11 straight over DePaul.
Bryce Golden and freshmen guards Myles Tate and Chuck Harris scored 10 points each for the Bulldogs.
