Butler runs nonleague home streak to 50 David Woods, david.woods@indystar.com
INDIANAPOLIS – Since joining the Big East, Butler has found a formula for making college basketball’s NCAA tournament:
Build a respectable but manageable nonconference schedule and win 10 games, then win another 10 against Big East opponents. Voila: You’re in.
To stay on track, the Bulldogs (9-3) would need to win Saturday in a rematch at Florida (7-4). Butler will try to extend a winning streak against Southeastern Conference opponents to six in a row.
